Inter Milan want Manchester United midfielder next month
Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly keen on landing the services of Nemanja Matic when the transfer window reopens in a couple of weeks' time.
The Serbian has endured a tough season with the Red Devils and he has been limited to just three appearances in the Premier League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
As a result, he has been tipped to part ways with club at the turn of the year and The Telegraph claims that the Nerazzurri are leading the race to land his signature.
Antonio Conte, who has previously managed Matic at Chelsea, is keen on a reunion with the Serbian amid a midfield crisis which sees Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella and Roberto Gagliardini on the sidelines.
Ivan Rakitic has also been linked with a move to the San Siro next month but Matic appears the most viable option for the Serie A leaders, given he would be available for a cheaper price.
The Nerazzurri have already landed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from the Red Devils this season with the latter joining them on a temporary basis for the campaign.
