Man City ready to splash £80m on Inter defender Milan Skriniar

Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar, who also turns out to be a target of Real Madrid.
According to The Daily Star, Cityzens are willing to splash £80m for the Nerazzurri defender to fix their issues in the defence.
Skriniar has been a prominent fixture under Antonio Conte this season, playing almost in all Serie A games. Forming a solid back-line with Stefan Vrij and Diego Godin, the Slovak has helped Inter secure 7 clean sheets this season.
The 24-year-old turned out to be a subject of interest from clubs like Manchester United and Barcelona last summer.
City’s defensive frailties cost them much of the games in Premier League this season, and also handed Liverpool a formidable lead in the title race.
Aymeric Laporte was hit with a serious injury at the start the season while John Stones missed as many as 10 games due to injury and lack of form.
Pep Guardiola awaits Man Utd in the Carabao Cup replays on Wednesday at Etihad Stadium.
