Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring the situation of Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling regarding a potential summer move.

The English attacker, who is currently out injured, is confident of returning to action against the Spanish giants in the Champions League.

A report from the Telegraph reveals that Los Blancos are ready to make a move for Sterling in the summer should he opts against signing a new contract with the Cityzens. His current contract runs out in the summer of 2023.

The 25-year-old has been struggling of late in the Premier League however his goal tally turns out to be 20 this season in all competitions.

Elsewhere at Bernabeu, Madrid’s attack has been somewhat inconsistent as the likes of Isco, Vinicius Jr, Gareth Bale, Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard have failed to create the same impact Karim Benzema have done this season. The French striker has 13 goals and 6 assists to his name in the La Liga while scoring 4 goals in the UCL group stages.
