Barcelona quoted €90m price tag for Serie A defender
Barcelona are required to splash out €90m for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, should they want to sign him in the summer.
Manchester City also turn out to be a potential suitor for the Slovak and have had an offer rejected worth €65m by the Nerazzurri.
According to Goal.com, Inter have quoted €90m for Slovak centre-back who recently updated his contract until 2023.
The 24-year-old has established himself as a pivotal figure in the defence for the San Siro outfit, playing more than 100 games since joining them in 2017.
Barca are also looking for a long-term successor to veteran defender Gerard Pique while Man City are desperate for defensive reinforcements following their eventful campaign.
Barca’s arch-rivals Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on Skriniar as they were said to have proposed a deal involving Luka Modric to Inter.
The Catalan's defence lacks depth at the moment as they have Pique, Samuel Umtiti and Clement Lenglet as the only reliable options.
Barca are also reportedly monitoring Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano, who has also caught the attention of top European clubs.
