Arsenal to make £10m bid for Martinez replacement?
Arsenal have identified Brentford goalkeeper David Raya as the ideal replacement for Emiliano Martinez.
Martinez has already made the switch to Aston Villa and an announcement is expected to happen in the next 24 hours.
The north London side were able to earn around £20m from the Argentine's exit and The Sun claims that they are now looking into a quick replacement.
Raya has been closely monitored by the Gunners in recent months and he has been recommended by goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana, who previously worked with the Bees.
Mikel Arteta's side are willing to spend around £10m for the Spaniard as they look to find a suitable back-up option behind Bernd Leno for the 2020/21 campaign.
Martinez was handed a new long-term deal by the Gunners earlier this month, but he rejected their advances in order to join the Villains, who provided him the assurance of a starting spot.
The Argentine was in superb form for the club during the final weeks of the previous season when Leno was injured and started in their FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs.
