Said Benrahma joins West Ham United
West Ham have finally completed the signing of Brentford attacker Said Benrahma for a fee of around £25 million. The transfer saga went right down to the wire as the Hammers secured the talented attacker's signature at the last minute on transfer deadline day.
Benrahma has been a revelation in the Championship and West Ham have pulled off a massive coup signing the player, beaten the likes of Tottenham and Sheff Utd to his signature. The player joins Vladimir Coufal, Ossama Ashley and Craig Dawson as the other summer signings for the club.
Having parted company with Felipe Anderson and Grady Diangana, West Ham were hard pushed to snap up a player and the 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a four year contract at the club. The East London outfit had ensured the deal, signing the player on a one year deal worth approximately £4 million, with the option to make the transfer permanent in the summer for a fee of £21 million. He is expected to battle with Pablo Fornals for a left-midfield berth at the club.
