Arsenal missing key defender for Chelsea clash
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that David Luiz won't be available for the Premier League clash at Chelsea tomorrow.
The Brazil international returned after a month lay-off to face Newcastle United, but he picked up a hamstring injury in the first half.
He subsequently missed the games against Villarreal and West Bromwich Albion, and is set to miss the reunion with the Blues.
Speaking in a press conference, Arteta said that Luiz is still nursing a hamstring concern, and hinted that he won't return for the derby.
Granit Xhaka (groin) and Pablo Mari (ankle sprain) are doubtful for the game. Arteta said that they will be assessed over the next 24 hours.
The Gunners won the reverse fixture in December by a 3-1 scoreline. Alexandre Lacazette, Bukayo Saka and Xhaka were the scorers.
They have the chance to do the league double over the Blues for the first time since the 2003/04 campaign, when they last won the title.
