Arsenal to loan out William Saliba?
Arsenal are open to loaning out William Saliba during the summer transfer window, Football Insider reports.
The centre-back has been with the Gunners since 2019, but he has yet to make a competitive appearance for them.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with Nice, and he could head out on another temporary stint next term.
According to Football Insider, the Gunners are in advanced negotiations to sign Ben White from Brighton & Hove Albion.
If they strike an agreement, Saliba is most likely to be loaned out. Newcastle United are deemed favourites to sign him.
The Magpies loaned Joe Willock from the Gunners in January, and he was a huge success with eight goals from just 14 games.
They have a good working relationship with the Gunners, and are likely to have the edge in the pursuit of Saliba.
They are also keen on retaining Joe Willock's services, but he won't come on the cheap with a price tag of around £30m.
