Crystal Palace still keen on landing Arsenal forward
Crystal Palace are still interested in landing the signature of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The 22-year-old has been on the fringes of the first-team, and he is expected to leave with his contract expiring next summer.
Palace recently made an opening bid of around £10 milion, but the Gunners snubbed the offer. They are looking for at least £20m.
Patrick Vieira's side are likely to intensify negotiations, and they are optimistic of reaching a transfer agreement soon.
Nketiah is currently on the sidelines with an ankle injury, but he is expected to return to normal training in early September.
Brighton have also been credited with an interest in him in the past, but they are currently focused on landing Darwin Nunez.
Nketiah bagged six goals across all competitions for the Gunners last term.
He started the season as a regular up front, but lost his place to Alexandre Lacazette during the back end of the campaign.
