Liverpool to swoop for West Ham United star in January?
Liverpool could make a fresh approach for West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen during the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old was linked with the Reds earlier this summer, but they decided against lodging a formal transfer offer for his services.
Instead, they are continuing to keep tabs on his performances, and Liverpool Echo claims that a winter move could be an option.
The Merseyside giants are impressed with Bowen's tireless work ethic as it would suit the style of play under manager Jurgen Klopp.
Meanwhile, Bowen's versatility has also caught the attention. He can play anywhere in the attack including the centre-forward position.
Bowen was signed from Hull City for around £20m in January 2020. He still has four years remaining on his existing deal with the Hammers.
The Hammers are in a strong position to keep him, and only a significant bid could tempt them to sanction a potential mid-season transfer.
Diogo Jota arrived at Liverpool from Wolves for £45m last summer. David Moyes' side could be looking for a similar transfer package.
