Manchester City make transfer decision on Raheem Sterling
Manchester City have no plans of parting ways with Raheem Sterling in January amid interest from Barcelona and Arsenal.
Sterling has seen limited playing time this term amid increased competition for places, but he remains a key player under Pep Guardiola.
According to The Mirror, the Cityzens won't entertain any offers for Sterling this winter, and will only assess his future next summer.
Sterling will enter the final year of his contract with the Cityzens in July 2022, but he has no plans of penning a new long-term deal.
He was picked from the starting line-up for the recent 3-0 win over Everton, but the club were missing Kevin de Bruyne and Jack Grealish.
At full strength, the England international does not have the assurance of regular starts. This could pave the way for his potential departure.
Barcelona failed to sign him on loan last summer, and they remain interested. Arsenal have also been regularly linked with the attacker.
