Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Aston Villa, Van de Beek starts

Manchester United face Aston Villa on the road in the Premier League today.

The Red Devils have picked up just four points from the last three league games. They recently suffered a 1-0 defeat to Wolves at Old Trafford.

Ralf Rangnick will want a better showing against the Villans. United beat them in the FA Cup third round tie earlier this week by the solitary goal.

Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea is an assured starter between the sticks with his tremendous form this season. The Spain international has been crucial in securing multiple points for United.

In front of him, Aaron Wan-Bissaka should return at right-back, but Luke Shaw won't feature on the opposite end. He is suspended, and is set to be replaced by Alex Telles.

Harry Maguire is fit following a chest injury, but Rangnick may stick with the same central defensive combination from the Cup tie. Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof should start.

Scott McTominay is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the league season. This may open up a spot for Donny van de Beek, who could play in a slightly advanced position to Fred.

Further forward, there could be a couple of changes. Marcus Rashford had a poor outing in the Cup where he was ineffective with his decision-making. He could drop to the bench.

We fancy Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood to operate in the left and right wing positions respectively with Bruno Fernandes starting in his preferred number 10 role.

Edinson Cavani has started the last three games in all competitions, but has not found the back of the net. The Uruguayan looks set to make way for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now fit.

Predicted Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Varane, Telles; Van de Beek, Fred; Greenwood, Fernandes, Sancho; Ronaldo.
