Thomas Tuchel confirms injury blow for Chelsea attacker
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Callum Hudson-Odoi won't feature against Brentford on Saturday.
The Blues have been in fantastic form in the Premier League with five straight wins, and have an excellent chance to extend the run.
They have already beaten the Bees on two occasions this season, and should be overwhelming favourites to make it three in a row.
Ahead of the game, Tuchel does not have any fresh injury concerns in the squad, but Ben Chilwell and Hudson-Odoi are still out.
Chilwell underwent a knee surgery during the final week of December. He appears likely to miss the rest of the ongoing campaign.
Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi has yet to recover from an Achilles injury. Having yet to return to regular training, he has been ruled out.
Despite his absence, the Blues are well covered in the wide attacking department with Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.
Mount appears set to start tomorrow. With Pulisic having arrived late from international duty, Ziyech could accompany the England man.
