Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1) vs Leeds United, White returns
Arsenal will be aiming to preserve their fourth spot in the Premier League when they entertain Leeds United on Sunday.
The Gunners are currently on a three-match winning streak, and should fancy their chances of beating the Whites at home.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Line-up:
Aaron Ramsdale has been an undisputed starter between the sticks since September last year. The 23-year-old made a stellar save against West Ham United last weekend which was crucial towards the 2-1 victory. He is expected to start in goal.
In defence, there could be a solitary change. Ben White has returned to training after a minor hamstring injury. He is likely to be reinstated into the starting XI over Rob Holding despite the latter's man of the match display against the Hammers that was capped with a goal.
With Thomas Partey still recovering from a significant thigh injury, Mohamed Elneny is expected to continue to partner Granit Xhaka in midfield. Elneny has been terrific with his concentration lately, thus cementing his spot over Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Further forward, it should be similar to last week. Gabriel Martinelli got the nod over Emile Smith Rowe and made the most of the opportunity with the assist for Gabriel Magalhaes' winner. Martinelli was excellent in the reverse fixture at Leeds with a first-half brace, and should start.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares; Elneny, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Nketiah.
