Arsenal interested in signing Barcelona goalkeeper
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona goalkeeper Neto this summer.
Neto has been regularly linked with the Gunners over the years, and there is once again speculation.
According to Goal Brasil, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta wants an experienced back-up goalkeeper next season with Bernd Leno on his way out.
Neto has been followed by the club for a while, and it is claimed that they could attempt to sign him for a knockdown fee this summer.
With his vast experience in LaLiga, Neto would be a quality deputy for Aaron Ramsdale, but we don't see a move materialising for him.
The Gunners have already agreed a deal for New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner, and he is expected to join the club soon.
The USA international has been signed as a back-up for Ramsdale, and it is unlikely that Neto will sign unless he is happy to be the third-choice.
Arsenal will be playing Europa League football again next season. Turner should be fancied to make regular starts during the group stage.
