William Saliba speaks on his Arsenal future
Arsenal defender William Saliba is looking forward to pre-season with the club following a successful loan stint at Marseille.
The Frenchman joined the Gunners from Saint-Etienne in 2019, but he has yet to make his competitive debut for the club.
This have been claims that he could be sold permanently this summer, but Saliba is keen to prove his worth to the Gunners.
Speaking exclusively to Telefoot today, he said: "I belong to Arsenal, I still have two years left. I will be back with Arsenal."
"I have played zero matches and I still want to show them my true face and have the chance to play for these fans and this great club."
Arsenal are expected to offload Pablo Mari. Udinese signed him on loan in January, and they are keen on a permanent transfer.
This should leave a vacancy for Saliba, who could act as the deputy to central defensive duo Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Both him and Rob Holding could be regular starters in the Cup competitions and especially the group stage of the Europa League.
