Arsenal handed triple injury boost for new season
Arsenal have been handed a triple injury boost for the new season with Kieran Tierney, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe back in full training.
The Gunners recently completed their pre-season tour of the United States with three wins, but there were some fitness concerns along the way.
Smith Rowe, Tierney and Tomiyasu were largely sidelined during the tour, but the trio were spotted in training with their teammates earlier today.
The news should come as a big boost for the Gunners and manager Mikel Arteta, who will want to pick his best players for the season opener.
The Gunners have a favourable schedule on paper this time around, but their curtain-raiser could be very tricky with a trip to Crystal Palace next week.
They have beaten the Eagles in just one of the previous eight meetings, and the London derby should provide an early test of their top-four credentials.
Tierney and Tomiyasu are most likely to start if they are deemed fit.
