Chelsea to end Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang interest?
Chelsea could end their interest in Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Marca.
The Blues have been negotiating for the Gabon star over the past few weeks, but have not managed to finalise a fee.
They have proposed to pay £15m plus Marcos Alonso for the 33-year-old, but Barcelona remain firm on their £20m price tag.
After several meetings, there has been no breakthrough in discussions, and Chelsea are now prepared to walk away.
Aubameyang suffered a fractured jaw on Monday after a violent robbery in his Barcelona residence where he was beaten.
As a result, he is out of contact training for around three weeks at least, but Chelsea are still prepared to secure his services.
As things stand, the transfer is unlikely to happen unless Barcelona are willing to lower their demands for Aubameyang.
Chelsea have Wilfried Zaha and Rafael Leao as alternative options, but Crystal Palace and AC Milan have no plans to sell.
