Chelsea ready to sell five players including Mason Mount

Mason Mount news

Mount to leave Chelsea this summer?

Chelsea are ready to sell five players this summer including contract rebel Mason Mount.

The Blues have endured a difficult Premier League campaign and they are currently lying 10th in the table with 31 points.

The club are already 11 points adrift of the top four and they look set to miss out on Champions League football next season.

This will force them to cash in on players for future purchases and Football Insider claim that there could be five departures.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to head for the exit door, having fallen out-of-favour under manager Graham Potter.

Aside from him, Hakim Ziyech, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Conor Gallagher are expected to be sold by the Blues' hierarchy.

Mount could also follow through the exit door, considering he has no plans of penning a contract extension at the current point.'

His contract expires at the end of next season. The Blues have yet to meet his salary demands and he looks likely to be sold.
