Liverpool to make future move for Bruno Guimaraes?
Liverpool could make a future approach to sign Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, according to Fichajes.net.
The Merseyside giants were keen on landing the Brazil international over the summer, but they could not persuade the Magpies.
The midfielder is now ready to sign a new deal until June 2028, but he will have a £100 million release clause as part of the contract.
It is now claimed that the Reds maintain an interest in the 25-year-old and they will be watching him closely over the campaign.
The club could renew his interest during next summer's transfer window where the buy-out clause on his contract will be active.
Guimaraes has been a revelation for the Magpies since his move from Lyon. He is an undisputed starter under manager Eddie Howe.
The big question is how long the club could keep him. If they miss out on the top four this term, Guimaraes could contemplate an exit.
Aside from Liverpool, Arsenal are also long-term admirers of the Brazilian and were interested in signing him during his time with Lyon.
