Tottenham boss confirms transfer activity is done

Ange Postecoglou has revealed that no new faces will be brought in to Tottenham before the end of January's transfer window, but that a few players may be forced out of the club. Spurs have had a few notable injuries this campaign and had been linked with at least one new signing in January.
Tottenham will play Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight, and Ange will be looking for his players to keep up their good recent form. But no new faces will be brought in as the transfer window prepares to close on Thursday.
Departures for Eric Dier, Hugo Lloris, Sergio Reguilon, Ivan Perisic and Djed Spence had raised the possibility of another new signing; but Spurs' business for Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner will be the only two inbound signings.
"I don't see any incomings," Postecoglou quipped. "Outgoings might be a little bit different, because I'm not totally engaged with that, and other people are doing the work around that. I'd say unlikely on both fronts, without ruling anything out."
