Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1 ) vs Monaco, double boost confirmed
Arsenal entertain Monaco in tonight's Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have picked up 10 points in the league phase and they can boost their top-eight push with a victory tonight.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Line-up:
David Raya has been an undisputed starter in goal for the Gunners and he is expected to continue between the sticks.
The backline is expected to stay unchanged. Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey missed yesterday's training session, but they have recovered in time for the game.
Partey and Timber are poised to start in the right and left-back positions. William Saliba should accompany Jakub Kiwior in central defence once more.
In midfield, there could be a solitary change with Mikel Merino replacing Jorginho. Declan Rice should partner the Spaniard with Martin Odegaard operating in the number 10 role.
Bukayo Saka is a nailed-on starter on the right wing and the same can be said for Kai Havertz up front. There could be a change on the left wing with Gabriel Martinelli replacing Leandro Trossard.
Trossard was hardly involved in the final third for the Gunners against Fulham. Martinelli was more lively off the bench and manager Mikel Arteta could reward him with a starting role tonight.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Monaco: Raya; Partey, Saliba, Kiwior; Merino, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Havertz.
