Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-3-3) vs Newcastle United, Nwaneri starts
Arsenal take on Newcastle United in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at St James' Park tonight.
The Gunners trail 2-0 after the first leg at the Emirates Stadium and they need a huge performance to overturn the deficit and make the final.
Formation: 4-3-3
Predicted Line-up:
David Raya is an undisputed starter in goal and he is expected to keep his place ahead of Neto once more.
The backline could stay the same. Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly are poised to start at right and left-back.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes should continue as the central defensive pairing for the Gunners.
In midfield, Thomas Partey should feature in the holding role with Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard playing centrally.
We could see a change in attack with Ethan Nwaneri coming in for Gabriel Martinelli in the right-wing position.
Nwaneri has scored two sublime goals from the edge of the box over the past week. His sharp shooting skills could get him the nod.
Leandro Trossard was brilliant with his dribbling and link-up play against Manchester City. He is likely to start on the left wing.
Kai Havertz is expected to lead the line once more. He was one of the top performers on Sunday with a goal and an assist.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-3-3) vs Newcastle: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Partey, Odegaard, Rice; Nwaneri, Havertz, Trossard.
