Man Utd enter race to sign 21yo French sensation
Manchester United have joined the race to sign Lyon sensation Rayan Cherki this summer, according to Fichajes.
The Red Devils are determined to bolster their attack ahead of next season. Wolves' Matheus Cunha is the number one priority for manager Ruben Amorim.
However, the club are also exploring another versatile option and they have joined Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace in the race for Cherki.
The 21-year-old has had a splendid campaign with Lyon. He has registered a stunning tally of 12 goals and 20 assists from 44 appearances across all competitions.
The Frenchman will enter the final year of his contract in July and he has already informed Lyon's hierarchy that he won't be extending his deal further.
Hence, he is expected to be sold in the coming weeks and reports claim that he could be available for just £18.5 million due to Lyon's financial problems.
Lyon have been handed provisional relegation to Ligue 2 and they need to recoup plenty of funds this summer to avoid dropping down to the second tier.
