Wayne Rooney happy to make the Arsenal switch
According to reports in the British media, Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is open to moving to the Emirates this summer.
The United star has been pushing for a move away from Old Trafford this summeer after his fall out with new manager David Moyes.
The 27 year old striker was alleged to have handed in a transfer request to Sir Alex Ferguson but the club later went back on their statement calling the entire episode a misudnerstanding.
Jose Mourinho's Chelsea have already made an offer for the disgruntled striker but the Premier League champions were quick to reject it. New manager Moyes has been consistent throughout as he repeatedly declared that the England international is not for sale.
Arsenal, who were also rumored to mulling over a move for Rooney, could be tempted to make a move for him especially with their latest offer for Luis Suarez being rejected by Liverpool.
