Maurizio Sarri eyeing three Napoli players ahead of Chelsea switch
Italian manager Maurizio Sarri is reportedly keen on signing three Napoli players once he is appointed as the new head coach at Chelsea.
The 59-year-old is currently in advanced negotiations with the Blues and it is widely expected that he will sign a three-year contract to replace Antonio Conte in the coming days.
As such, the Italian is said to have already made up his transfer wishlist which includes three Napoli players in right-back Elseid Hysaj, midfielder Piotr Zielinski and centre-back Raul Albiol.
It is added that long-term Blues target Kalidou Koulibaly is also an option for the experienced head coach, though his relationship with Napoli president Aurelio di Laurentiis is understood to have broken down.
Sarri was recently released by the Italian club after he failed to commit to a new long-term deal. The Naples outfit have since replaced him with ex-Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti on a three-year contract.
