West Ham United ready to swoop for Fulham striker?
West Ham United are reportedly planning an attempt to sign Aleksandar Mitrovic from Fulham in order to reinforce their attack ahead of next term.
The Hammers are expected to pursue at least one marksman during the summer with Andy Carroll likely to depart while the futures of Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic are hanging in the balance.
According to The Telegraph, Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen on pursuing the services of Mitrovic, who has netted 10 goals in the Cottagers' return to the Premier League.
The Serbian was recruited by the Cottagers on a permanent basis from Newcastle United last summer, but they are likely to sanction his sale after they failed to beat the Premier League drop.
Mitrovic currently has more than four years remaining on his existing deal with the Cottagers, and the Hammers may need to come up with a sizeable bid to convince the soon-to-be Championship side into a sale.
Mitrovic is expected to feature for Fulham against Everton this afternoon.
