Inter Milan join the race for Liverpool target
Inter Milan have reportedly joined the transfer race for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
The German striker is one of the most sought-after players in Europe, with heavyweights like Liverpool, Manchester United and Barcelona all on his trail.
According to Goal.com, Inter become the latest club to show their interest in signing Werner, who is understood to have a bargain of a release clause worth £25m.
Jurgen Klopp's side are said to be leading the line to sign the 23-year-old in the summer after the striker expressed his desire to play under the German manager.
Nerazzurri have been linked with some prolific strikers of late, as a measure to replace their star striker Lautaro Martinez, who has been strongly linked to Barca. The list includes the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Anthony Martial and Dries Mertens.
Martinez reportedly holds a release clause worth €111m and Inter believe the Blaugrana will meet that valuation in the summer.
