Barcelona eye summer move for £35m-rated La Liga winger

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Valencia midfielder Ferran Torres.

The Spanish prodigy has already caught the attention of Liverpool and Real Madrid following his stellar season with Los Ches.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have joined the transfer race for the Spanish youngster and are set to table an offer worth £35m.

Torres is one of the exciting talents in Europe, with a goal contribution of 8 in all competitions for Los Che. He also had his memorable moment when he set up for the decisive goal against Chelsea in the UCL group stage.

The report also adds that the Spaniard has already rejected contract renewals and Valencia could cash in on him before his current deal expires in June 2021.

The Blaugrana have been bereft of attacking options following injuries to Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez. Lionel Messi, Alex Collado, Martin Braithwaite and Ansu Fati and Antoine Griezmann are the only forwards available.

Barca are currently trailing table-toppers Real Madrid following the 2-0 win for the latter in El Clasico.
