Juventus have emerged as the latest contenders for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Liverpool are regarded as the frontrunners for the German ace while Manchester United and Barcelona are also keeping close tabs.
According to The Daily Express, Juve have added Werner to their wishlist as a measure to keep hold of their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 23-year-old has been excellent for Die Rotten this season, racking up 21 goals and 7 assists in Bundesliga. He has also been influential behind Leipzig’s success in the Champions League and scored the only goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Meanwhile, Bianconeri are also keeping tabs on Mauro Icardi and Gabriel Jesus as they intend to bolster their attack ahead of next season.
Maurizio Sarri is in deep water following his side’s defeat in the UCL round of 16 first leg against Lyon; Juve are also trailing Lazio in the race for Scudetto this season.
Pep Guardiola has been tipped to replace the former Chelsea gaffer at Turin this summer, though the Spaniard is said to be keen on continuing with the Cityzens.
