Arsenal defender Cedric Soares has no plans of leaving the club amid interest from Turkish clubs, football.london claims.

The right-back has started two of the club's three Premier League games, but his game time could be reduced soon.

The Gunners purchased Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna on deadline day, and he is expected to cement a starting role.

Meanwhile, there is also competition from Calum Chambers and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, but Cedric is prepared to stay.

The Portugal international is willing to fight for his place rather than pursuing a move to the Super Lig within the next five days.

The Turkish transfer window is open until September 8.  Sead Kolasinac and Mohamed Elneny have also been linked with Turkish clubs.

Kolasinac is currently on the radar of Fenerbahce. Elneny is attracting interest from Besikas, where he previously spent time on loan.

Elneny is currently assessing his options as Maitland-Niles is expected to provide competition for game time in central midfield.

The Egyptian is already below Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey and Albert Sambi Lokonga in the pecking order under manager Mikel Arteta.
