Manchester United expected to sign new striker
Manchester United's interim manager Ralf Rangnick has acknowledged that the club will sign a new striker this summer.
The Red Devils started the campaign with Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood as the striker options.
However, Martial has since been loaned out to Sevilla after falling out-of-favour. There is speculation that he could push for a permanent departure later this year.
Elsewhere, Greenwood is indefinitely suspended while Cavani is expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of the ongoing campaign.
Amidst this, Rangnick has said that 'it is obvious' that the club will look to pursue the best available centre forward during the next transfer window.
There are no stand-out targets at the moment, but they could have their sights on pursuing Harry Kane if Mauricio Pochettino becomes the next manager.
Pochettino is a clear favourite for the managerial role. The former Tottenham boss is likely to demand a reunion with the England international.
