Chelsea defender signs four-year deal with Spanish giants
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract with Real Madrid today, Fabrizio Romano reports.
The German will be leaving the Blues at the expiry of his contract on June 30, but he is free to sign a pre-contract with a foreign club.
Madrid have been front-runners to land him for a number of weeks, and the German has now signed a four-year contract worth €10m per year.
An official announcement is set to be delayed until after the Champions League final with Los Blancos not wanting any kind of disruptions.
Meanwhile, Rudiger won't be the only Blues defender leaving this summer. Andreas Christensen has already agreed a free transfer to Barcelona.
Cesar Azpilicueta has also been touted to join the Catalan giants while Marcos Alonso is likewise eyeing an exit following a recent fall-out.
Alonso was substituted midway through the Wolves clash after a bust-up with manager Thomas Tuchel, and may have played his final Blues game.
