Manchester United are planning a late spending spree before the transfer window closes on September 1.

The Red Devils have made just three summer signings in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.

A fourth is on the way in the form of Real Madrid's Casemiro, who is expected to join in the next couple of days.

According to The Telegraph, a late spending spree is expected with United eyeing four more signings before the deadline.

They want to sign another midfielder while a versatile forward, a right-back and a back-up goalkeeper are also priorities.

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot was a top target for United earlier this month, but a move faltered over personal terms.

The Red Devils may plan to revisit their interest if the France international is prepared to lower his weekly wage demands.

Aside from Rabiot, United have their sights on Antony, Christian Pulisic and Cody Gakpo to bolster their attack this summer.

For the right-back role, Sergino Dest, Malo Gusto and Thomas Meunier are among the names under the club's consideration.

When it comes to back-up goalkeepers, Asmir Begovic and Yann Sommer have been linked with the club over the past 24 hours.
