Mikel Arteta confirms huge injury boost for Arsenal
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed a huge injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners have started their top-flight campaign with back-to-back wins and they will be aiming another victory at the Emirates Stadium.
Ahead of the game, they have been handed a big boost with Gabriel Jesus back in full training after recovering from a minor knee surgery.
The Brazilian sustained the setback in the final week of pre-season and it was anticipated that he would be sidelined until the middle of September.
However, he has made a much swifter recovery and Arteta has confirmed that he is fully fit after spending a week training with the first-team.
The manager also hinted that the former Manchester City striker could make the starting line-up ahead of Eddie Nketiah for the derby.
Nketiah won the penalty that won the game at Crystal Palace, but he was guilty of missing two goalscoring chances prior to the goal.
