Mikel Arteta news

Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Fulham today

Arsenal will be eyeing a third consecutive Premier League win when they face Fulham on the road this evening.

Ahead of the game, manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed a timely boost with Piero Hincapie back in training after a thigh injury.

The club are still missing several key players including Martin Odegaard, who is sidelined with a fresh knee problem.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya has been an undisputed starter in goal and he is guaranteed to continue between the sticks against the Cottagers.

In front of him, it should be the same backline. Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Riccardo Calafiori are poised to start.

With Odegaard sidelined, Arteta has an easy decision to make. Martin Zubimendi should return to the XI to partner Declan Rice in central midfield.

Eberechi Eze is expected to start in the number 10 position this evening. He has been unlucky with several big saves against him since his summer move.

In the final third, Bukayo Saka is poised to start on the right wing. Viktor Gyokeres is expected to start as the centre-forward despite his lean scoring form in recent weeks.

Gabriel Martinelli looks set to feature ahead of Leandro Trossard on the left wing. He has four goals and an assist in his last seven games for club and country.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Fulham: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Eze, Martinelli; Gyokeres.
