Wolves confirm signing of Belgian midfielder
Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed their sixth signing of the summer transfer window with Leander Dendoncker joining them from Anderlecht on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old, who can play in both the midfield and defence, has joined the likes of Adama Traore, Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho, Jonny Castro and Raul Jimenez at the Molineux this summer.
According to Sky Sports News, the west Midlands outfit have agreed on a temporary deal for the Belgian with the option to buy for an affordable fee of £13m next summer.
Dendoncker has racked 171 appearances for Anderlecht since graduating through the youth system and he was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United last year.
He was most-recently part of the Belgium national side at the summer World Cup and started the final group stage game against England, which the Red Devils won by a 1-0 scoreline.
Aside from Dendoncker, Wolves are looking to make another signing before today's 5pm deadline and the likes of Victor Moses, Layvin Kurzawa and Andre Silva have been linked.
