Liverpool striker to join Crystal Palace?
Crystal Palace have reportedly earmarked Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster as a potential option to strengthen their squad when the transfer window reopens.
The 19-year-old has been rated highly by manager Jurgen Klopp but he has yet to make his Premier League debut and has been limited to just two outings in the League Cup.
According to Football Insider, the Eagles have already made contact with the Reds regarding Brewster and they have proposed to take him on loan for the backend of the season.
Jordan Ayew and Christian Benteke are currently competing for the striker's role upfront but only the former has impressed with four goals in the Premier League this term.
The Eagles have also been linked with Chelsea's Olivier Giroud in recent weeks but they are said to be reluctant to meet the striker's contract demands for a permanent transfer at the turn of the year.
Roy Hodgson's side recently produced a strong performance against Liverpool on their home turf but they eventually succumbed to a 2-1 defeat with Roberto Firmino netting a 85th-minute winner.
