Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-3-3) to face West Ham, Ramsey and Elneny start

21 April 2018 - 18:53

Arsenal will seek to return to winning ways when they entertain West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The Gunners have had a woeful record on the road with zero points registered in 2018 but this has not hampered their progress in front of their supporters.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Formation: 4-2-3-1

    Lineup:

Petr Cech has been the undisputed choice for the number one position and he is likely to retain his place in goal ahead of David Ospina, who may feature in the midweek European game.

In defence, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal should return to the first XI in the right and left-back positions whilst Wenger may prefer to go with the combination of Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi at the heart of the backline.

Jack Wilshere remains a doubt with a minor ankle concern and he may make the bench at best. In this case, Mohamed Elneny is likely to accompany Granit Xhaka in the holding midfield positions with Aaron Ramsey playing just ahead of them.

Onto the frontline, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could feature on the right and left side of the attack respectively with Alexandre Lacazette a strong candidate to lead the line.
