Chelsea take on Liverpool in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium this evening. The Blues will be desperate to win the competition, having lost out in the final in the last two seasons.

  • Formation: 3-4-2-1

    Predicted Line-up:

Edouard Mendy has been the regular choice in goal across all competitions. He has been preferred in the last two rounds of the FA Cup, and should continue between the sticks today.

The defence will see a solitary change from midweek with Thiago Silva coming in. Trevoh Chalobah could make way with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen likely to partner him in the back three.

Reece James and Marcos Alonso are assured starters in the wing-back positions. In midfield, Ruben Loftus-Cheek could partner Jorginho amid fitness issues for Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante.

Kovacic is a big doubt for the FA Cup final with an ankle problem. Kante has also been struggling to prove his fitness over the past few games, and could make the bench at best.

In attack, no changes are expected. Mason Mount, who bagged a goal and an assist against Leeds, should partner Christian Pulisic once more with Romelu Lukaku leading the line again.

The Belgian has redeemed himself with three goals in his two appearances, and should be backed to start ahead of Kai Havertz, who has featured on the bench over the past few games.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; James, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Pulisic; Lukaku.
