Arsenal will be aiming to secure a third-straight Premier League win when they face Bournemouth away from home today.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The Gunners have made a terrific start to the campaign with six points from two games, and have the chance to temporarily go top of the table.

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Fabio Silva is available for selection after his foot injury, but the Portuguese may only feature off the bench.

    Formation: 4-2-3-1

    Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale is a guaranteed starter in front of goal. He is expected to keep his place ahead of summer signing Matt Turner, who could play in the Cup competitions.

The backline could stay unchanged. Ben White picked up a knock against Leicester City, but the England star has been deemed fit by Arteta. He should continue at right-back.

William Saliba scored an unfortunate own goal last weekend, but other than that, he has not put a foot wrong. The Frenchman should continue to partner Gabriel Magalhaes in central defence.

At left-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko should continue ahead of Kieran Tierney, though Arteta may consider rotating in future such that the latter gets his fair share of playing time from the start.

In the centre of the park, Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka are bound to start. Xhaka has been offered the license to push forward, and got himself a goal and an assist last time around.

The Switzerland international will be aiming to continue his fine run of form. In front of the duo should be Martin Odegaard, who needs to step up as the new club captain of the team.

Either side of Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are assured starters. The brilliant Gabriel Jesus should lead the line after his stunning four goal contributions against Leicester.

Jesus had a good debut at Crystal Palace without finding the back of the net, but was simply sensational against the Foxes with two goals and two assists. The Brazilian is expected to start up front.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus.
