Liverpool suffer Major Injury Blow
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge looks set to spend a lengthy period on the sidelines after he suffered a new injury.
The England international has had his fair share of injury problems over the past year and this has hampered his place in the first-team.
Many had expected the 26-year-old to make himself a regular in the starting line-up having successfully recovered from his foot problem.
However, things turned worse for the former Chelsea man as he pulled his hamstring in his second half appearance against Newcastle United last weekend.
Sturridge is now expected to be out for at least eight weeks, and this is likely to have an effect on the club's transfer plans for the New Year.
Jurgen Klopp's side are already without Danny Ings for the season after he ruptured his knee ligaments.
