Predicted Chelsea lineup (3-4-3) vs Crystal Palace, Hazard and Pedro start

Chelsea could play with Hazard up front

Chelsea will return to Premier League action this weekend with an away trip to south London rivals Crystal Palace. The Blues have made a decent start to the campaign with 13 points from seven outings, and they are presently six points adrift of league leaders Manchester City. The Blues went on a long unbeaten run during a similar phase of the season last term, and Antonio Conte will no doubt want a victory at Selhurst Park to brush aside the recent 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Formation: 4-3-3

Lineup:

Thibaut Courtois has featured in all seven games in the Premier League season, and he is a certain starter between the sticks. The backline could see familiar faces with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill occupying the three-man central defence. Victor Moses should return to the right wing-back spot after being rested versus City while Marcos Alonso is likely to start in his usual left wing-back position.

N'Golo Kante is unlikely to be fit following his hamstring injury on international duty, and this will certainly see Cesc Fabregas move into a deeper midfield role alongside Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Both Pedro and Willian started from the bench in the defeat to Manchester City, but there is a huge chance that the pair will start in the left and right wing positions respectively at Selhurst Park.

With Alvaro Morata still short of fitness from his hamstring problem, Conte could go with Eden Hazard in the false number 9 ahead of Michy Batshuayi, who rarely gets the nod under the Italian head coach.

Chelsea (3-4-3): Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Bakayoko, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian, Hazard, Pedro
