Predicted Chelsea XI vs Everton

Chelsea will be aiming to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign when they entertain Everton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon. The Blues are presently second behind only Manchester City in the standings but they have the opportunity to leapfrog them into the lead, should the results go their way.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been the club's first-choice shot-stopper for the Premier League duties and the Spaniard is expected to retain his position for the visit of Everton.

In defence, a complete overhaul from the midweek European game is expected and this should witness Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso on the right and left side of the backline whilst David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger should feature in the central defensive department.

Likewise in midfield, N'Golo Kante should return to the fray alongside Jorginho while Ross Barkley could get the nod over Mateo Kovacic for the third midfield position after his improved showing since the last international break,

Further forward, Eden Hazard without much doubt should feature on the left wing and he could be accompanied by Willian on the opposite end while Alvaro Morata should lead the line.

Olivier Giroud bagged his first Blues goal of the season against BATE Borisov on Thursday night but he is likely to feature from the bench with Morata in a good run of form with five goals from the space of six matches.
