Predicted Chelsea XI to face Malmo

Chelsea entertain Malmo in the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 on Thursday night. The Blues have a handy 2-1 advantage from the away leg against the Swedes but manager Maurizio Sarri is still expected to field a strong lineup to make progress towards the last 16 phase.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Willy Caballero could be afforded a rare start between the sticks against Malmo with Kepa Arrizabalaga likely to be kept afresh for the weekend's League Cup final against Manchester City.

In the defence, Andreas Christensen may come in to partner Antonio Rudiger at the heart of the backline. Cesar Azpilicueta should retain his position at right-back, though Emerson could slot into the opposite end ahead of Marcos Alonso.

In the midfield, Jorginho and N'Golo Kante are certainties to feature from the off and they could be accompanied by Ross Barkley, who was only on the bench during the recent FA Cup fifth round defeat against Manchester United.

In the attack, Olivier Giroud appears certain to lead the line and he could be flanked with Willian and Pedro either side. One of the wider duo could be picked for the League Cup final depending on their performance against Malmo.
