Predicted Chelsea XI vs Brighton

Chelsea will be aiming to secure a second league win on the bounce when they entertain Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

The west London side have experienced indifferent results since the turn of the year but they are still within the cusp of the top four with a one-point deficit.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been the number one role for the goalkeeping duties through the season and the Spaniard is certain to feature in goal against Chris Hughton's side.

In the defence, Maurizio Sarri is unlikely to entertain any changes from the regular combination and this should witness Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz and Marcos Alonso make up the backline.

Ahead of them, Jorginho is very much certain to start in the holding role and he could be accompanied by N'Golo Kante, who was surprisingly an unused substitute in the fortuitous win at Cardiff City.

Alongside the duo, Ruben Loftus-Cheek could make a strong case to start in the centre of the park after his late winner in the 2-1 triumph over Cardiff at the weekend.

Further forward, Eden Hazard and Pedro could slot into the left and right side of the attack and the former should be fresh for the game after starting from the bench in the previous game.

Upfront, Olivier Giroud could be handed a rare league start ahead of Gonzalo Higuain, who has continued to misfire. The Argentine has netted just thrice since his winter loan move from Juventus.
