Manchester City keeping tabs on Atalanta midfielder Marten de Roon
Manchester City have reportedly scouted Atalanta midfielder, Marten de Roon, according to a report from Teesside Live.
The report states that Cityzens are monitoring the progress of the Dutch midfielder, who played against them in the UCL group stage games. City are also said to be keeping tabs on Wolves duo Adama Traore and Ruben Neves,
Following his switch to Serie A from Middlesbrough, De Roon has become a permanent fixture for Gasperini's side, playing more than 100 games.
His famous moment in a Boro shirt came in his debut game against City itself where he would score the equalizer in the dying seconds.
Being the metronome of Atalanta’s midfield, the 28-year-old has been instrumental behind his side’s recent surge in both the Serie A and European competitions. The Dutch international was regular in the Euro Qualifiers last year.
Another midfielder Cityzens have been tracking is Aston Villa's Jack Grealish, who is also on the transfer radar of cross-town rivals Manchester United and the La Liga duo Barcelona and Real Madrid.
