Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-3-3) vs Leicester City, Jota and Fabinho start
Liverpool are scheduled to host Leicester City at Anfield tonight. The Reds are currently fourth in the standings with 17 points, but can go within goal difference of leaders Tottenham Hotspur with a victory.
Formation: 4-3-3
Predicted Lineup:
Alisson Becker has been the undisputed goalkeeper for the Reds and he is expected to start between the sticks tonight.
In the defence, the Reds will be without three of their regulars in Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold due to injuries.
Joel Matip is likely to be accompanied by Nat Phillips in the central defence.
Neco Williams and Andrew Robertson should take up the right and left-back positions respectively.
In the holding midfield, Fabinho should replace the injured Jordan Henderson after overcoming a hamstring issue.
Naby Keita and Georginio Wijnaldum will make up the central midfield ahead of him.
Further forward, Mohamed Salah won't be available after testing positive for COVID-19.
Hence, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota are expected to feature on the left and right wing respectively with Roberto Firmino leading the line.
Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-3-3): Alisson Becker; Neco Williams, Nat Phillips, Joel Matip, Andy Robertson; Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum, Naby Keita; Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane
