Arsenal preparing to offload several players
Arsenal are preparing to offload multiple players before the closure of the summer transfer window, ESPN reports.
The Gunners have spent over £130m on summer signings, and they are now expected to recoup some of the funds from player sales.
They have already earned around £25m from Joe Willock's move to Newcastle United, and there could be more outward activity.
Willian, Lucas Torreira, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Eddie Nketiah are among those that could leave.
Among the above-mentioned players, the Gunners are yet to receive any transfers offers for Willian, Kolasinac or Lucas Torreira.
Mikel Arteta refused to rule out more new signings before the August 31 deadline, but that may largely depend on outgoings.
The club are still interested in landing a new striker and right-back. As things stand, they are not close to adding another player to their ranks.
Tammy Abraham was a potential striker target, but he recently made the move to Roma on a permanent deal from London rivals Chelsea.
