Chelsea defender wanted by Serie A trio?
Chelsea defender Levi Colwill is attracting interest from three Serie A clubs, according to Calciomercato.
The 19-year-old had a solid loan spell with Huddersfield in the Championship last season where he made 32 appearances.
He is currently on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion where he has struggled for minutes, but is nonetheless attracting high-profile interest.
According to Calciomercato, AC Milan, Napoli and Atalanta are all keeping tabs on him ahead of a possible approach next summer.
It is added that the trio could attempt to sign him on loan with a future buy option. It remains to be seen whether the Blues are tempted.
Chelsea spent heavily on their defence this summer with the signings of Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella as well as Wesley Fofana.
They are expected to add another central defender to their squad, and Colwill may feel he has no future with the Blues anymore.
Instead of acting as a squad player, he could be better off moving on. The likes of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori chose that route.
